before you go

For renters

A record of your home that neither side can change.

Photos of the place, timestamped, on one screen you and your landlord both read. It is free for you, and it stays free.

What this is, who sees it, and what it costs you

What it is

A set of photos of your home, taken room by room, each carrying the date and time it was taken. Once they are saved, nobody can edit or delete them. Not your landlord, not you, not us. That cuts both ways, and it is the whole point.

Who sees it

You and your landlord, on the same screen, at the same time. Anything one of you can see, the other can see. If your landlord writes a note on a photo, the note is on your copy too.

What it costs you

Nothing, now or later. You can download the whole record as a PDF whenever you want, including after you have moved out and the lease is closed. Every photo comes with its dates.

How it starts today

Right now the record begins when a landlord sets up the lease and invites you. There is no way to start one on your own yet. We are building that, and this page will say so when it is ready.

Already been invited?

Your invite is in your email. If you cannot find it, you can send yourself a new link. You do not need to ask your landlord for it.

Landlord not using it?

Then there is nothing here for you to start yet. Leave us an address and we will write to you when a renter can begin a record without waiting on anyone.

What we do not do

We will write to you when a renter can start one alone.

One email, when it exists. Not a newsletter, and we will not pass your address to a landlord.

Always free for renters.
